During the Jack and Jill week at the North Carolina General Assembly,teens from the Burlington Graham, Capital City,Durham, Eastern NC, Greensboro, and Winston Salem chapters were able to work for 4 days as pages for the House of Representatives. All teens were sponsored by the NC Speaker of the House, Tim Moore, and given the unique opportunity to participate in legislative process first hand. As pages, we set up for committee meetings, assisted on the House floor, met with member of the General Assembly, navigated the legislative building, and were able to network in a friendly and professional environment.
