Regional Logistics Chair Summer Banks has been a proud member of the Passionate Portsmouth since 2014. During this time, she has served in several leadership roles within her local chapter including Chapter President. Before joining the Regional Logistics Committee in 2021, she served on the Regional Technology Committee and Regional Programming Handbook Committee. Summer received her Bachelors in Health Science from Old Dominion University and her Masters of Professional Studies: Project Management from Georgetown
University. Currently, she is a Senior Project Manager supporting healthcare projects and programs for RadNet, Inc.
Summer is married to Johnathan and is the mother of Bryson, 17, and Kennedy, 15. When she is not supporting regional planning, she is volunteer with Wright to Read, as an elementary reading tutor, and her local PMI chapter. She is an avid traveler and wine lover.

A former NC Teaching Fellow and Tarheel at heart with 30 years' test prep experience, Sheba Lowe Brown is the co-founder of APlus Test Prep, where students improve their SAT/ACT scores to not only get into college but also earn scholarships. Through APlus Test Prep, Brown and her husband work with college & career prep programs all over NC. They partner with parents, programs, organizations, and communities to provide college & career prep programming that helps students develop academically and socially. APlus Test Prep's team knows that higher #scoresopendoors for students. Among APlus Test Prep's high school scholars, 92% have earned college scholarships, and 86% of adult learners earned additional career certification, licensure, and/or admission to law school and other graduate programs.

Nicole M. Brunson is Head of Litigation & Disputes with Arrival. In this global role, Nicole practices general litigation,
product liability, and commercial litigation with a focus on risk mitigation. She also advises on various corporate matters.
Before joining Arrival in 2021, Nicole served as Associate General Counsel with Trane Technologies and an associate at Swanson Martin & Bell, LLP, a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois.
Nicole serves the business in mitigation of risk, management of litigation matters and costs and the provision of legal insight on business decisions. Nicole’s varied background in physical science and sales and management provides a
strong foundation for her role as a dispute resolutionist and business partner to her clients.
A big believer in “paying it forward,” Nicole is active in the Association of Corporate Counsel Charlotte Chapter and served as President during 2020. She has been active with DRI since 2007, IADC since 2012 and received acceptance
into FDCC in 2022. She is also a member of two ALFA International Client Advisory Boards. Nicole was awarded the

Dr. Candace Chambers is the CEO and Founder of Educational Writing Services, LLC, where she provides college admissions and scholarship coaching to high school students nationwide, conducts college preparation and writing workshops for non-profit organizations, and provides editorial services to students and professionals. She is also the author of Write Your Way to a Successful Scholarship Essay and The ABCs of College Admissions and Scholarships.
Additionally, Dr. Chambers teaches English composition at Georgia Military College and Business and Professional Writing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Dr. Chambers is originally from Jackson, Mississippi, and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Secondary Education. She also attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and earned her Master of Arts degree in English/Composition and Rhetoric. Lastly, she earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
All of her collegiate education has been free, and she has not had to attain any student loans due to her strategic method of finding and earning scholarships. Her total funding in the form of scholarships and grants has been 1.3 million dollars.
Through her college coaching services, she has guided high school students to receive over 65
college acceptances to schools nationwide, such as Columbia University, Howard University, Spelman College, and Wake Forest University, and over 5 million in scholarships, including institutional, local, state, and national scholarships.
She works to provide students with the tools to attend college debt-free through strategic preparation.

Dr. Tyandle Coleman is the Clinical Director for NC Health Partners, a mental health provider in Charlotte and Winston Salem, NC. At NC Health Partners Dr. Coleman manages a team of mental health professionals responsible for the care of adolescent and adult populations.
Dr. Coleman’s clinical expertise includes adults with severe and persistent mental illness and trauma informed therapy. She also created and piloted the Comprehensive Assessment for Eligibility Clients for Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services which looked to capture data on generational trauma.
She graduated from Norfolk State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology. Dr. Shamieka Virella Dixon, is the Division Chief of Adolescent Medicine and Director of the Center for Gender Health at Atrium Health's Levine Children's Hospital's Teen Health Connection. At Teen Health Connection, Dr. Dixon provides primary and specialty care to adolescents and young adults aged 11- 25 with a special interest in underserved and marginalized youth. She has clinical expertise in the areas of adolescent reproductive health, mental health, and LGBTQ healthcare. She serves as the adolescent medicine rotation director for resident physicians and medical students, is active in resident promotions and competency committees and leads the pediatric DEI curriculum sub-committee. She is a native of the Bronx, NY, graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development. She obtained her doctorate degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, completed pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, and an adolescent medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. She resides in Charlotte, NC with her devoted husband and 2 daughters. She is also an active member of the South Charlotte Chapter of Jack and Jill.

I believe in empowering individuals to live life to the fullest! I embarked on my journey to helping individuals to look and feel their best selves at every age in 2019. I trained in advanced cosmetic injectables including Botox, Fillers, Kybella, and facial aesthetics. Also, I have a strong desire to assist individuals to live a healthy lifestyle with weight loss therapies, IV vitamin infusions and more. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baptist College of Health Sciences and then earned my Master of Science degree at University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. I have a National certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and learning different cultures.

Amy has been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. She graduated from Argosy University – Twin Cities in 2010 with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has been licensed for five years in Minnesota before heading south to North Carolina for warmer weather. Amy is extremely passionate about helping clients work through traumatic experiences, focusing on beliefs created in early childhood, and process how that has shown up in current life trials. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she uses a systemic approach to presenting problems and values collaboration in the therapeutic relationship.
Amy works with all ages and stages, blending different techniques to fit the need of her clients. From using play therapy techniques with ages 2 to 14, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and EMDR for adolescents to adults, and sand tray therapy techniques for anywhere in between. She has worked with many different disorders including, but not limited to; anxiety disorders, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, reactive attachment disorder, autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD. She has also worked with clients to improve stress management, self-worth, self-care, manage symptoms from grief/loss, sexual, emotional and verbal abuse, abandonment/rejection, and explore sexual identity/orientation.

Tracey Hawkins is a native of North Carolina, originally from Morehead City. As a wife, and mother to two children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who also balances full-time work commitments with nurturing her family as the central focus of her life.
Advocating for the needs of the autistic community is one of Tracey’s core values and is the driving force behind her success, becoming the founder and CEO of Thriving on the Spectrum. This tech startup company develops interactive and digital supports tailored to the needs of the neurodiverse community. The company’s Thrive App was inspired by her two children with ASD and offers a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to leveraging technology in our everyday lives. Tiffany Howard is a School Psychologist with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. This is her 16th year as an educator and she currently serves an elementary school and middle school supporting students between PreK and 8th grades. As a school psychologist, she provides academic, behavior and mental health support and has expertise in the areas of psychological assessments, data analysis, crisis response and consultation with teachers and families. She completes psychological evaluations as part of the IEP and 504 evaluation processes and also actively participates in problem solving and data analysis with her school-based teams to support teachers, staff and families in making the most appropriate educational decisions regarding academic and social emotional needs. Tiffany also enjoys working with children individually and in small groups to provide counseling services. Her special interests include treatment of anxiety disorders and using mindfulness to teach self-regulation.
Tiffany attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and African American Studies in 2002. She later attended UNC Chapel Hill for her graduate students and earned her Specialist Degree in School Psychology in 2007. Tiffany is currently on the NCDPI Registry of Approved Providers for TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Psychological Services. She serves on the districts TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) team and completes complex psychological evaluations and assessments for students impacted by brain injuries. Tiffany is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).

Regional Protocol Chair Anissa L. Milbourne

Meet Anissa L. Milbourne, National Protocol Committee for 2022-2024, Serving as the Mid-Atlantic Region Protocol Chair. She hails from the Spectacular Spartanburg (SC) Chapter and also serves as Chapter VP. RPC Milbourne currently is the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer for Dodge Industrial Company, since 2017. Anissa plays a vital role in providing supplier quality on-boarding, development, oversight, solutions, and defects resolutions. In addition, her community involvement includes Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated; Society of Women Engineers (SWE); Black Women in STE(A)M; SAE, International (also known as the Society of Automotive & Aerospace Engineers); American Society of Quality (ASQ); United Way Greenville Leadership Boards; Rainbow Coalition, Member of the NAACP, and North Carolina A&T Alumni Association (SC Upstate Aggies).
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, she works further to build relationships with suppliers and key business stakeholders. She daily reviews supplier manufacturing processes that yield conforming material. She also serves on many Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to build inclusiveness into the way Dodge Industrial solves problems and does business. As Member at Large for the Dodge Diamond Strong ERGs, she operates to become a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion).
The word Legacy continually comes to mind when Anissa hears her chapter’s name. She will forever build on the longstanding commitment to do things safely and better and better. The average years of service realized by her fellow mother members is absolutely worth celebrating. How exciting that their chapter is a true example of consistency. Consistent professionalism, problem solving, collaboration, and happy members. It’s the consistency for her!

In addition, her community involvement includes Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated; Society of Women Engineers (SWE); Black Women in STE(A)M; SAE, International (also known as the Society of Automotive & Aerospace Engineers); American Society of Quality (ASQ); United Way Greenville Leadership Boards; Rainbow Coalition, Member of the NAACP, and North Carolina A&T Alumni Association (SC Upstate Aggies).
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, she works further to build relationships with suppliers and key business stakeholders. She daily reviews supplier manufacturing processes that yield conforming material. She also serves on many Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to build inclusiveness into the way Dodge Industrial solves problems and does business. As Member at Large for the Dodge Diamond Strong ERGs, she operates to become a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion).
The word Legacy continually comes to mind when Anissa hears her chapter’s name. She will forever build on the longstanding commitment to do things safely and better and better. The average years of service realized by her fellow mother members is absolutely worth celebrating. How exciting that their chapter is a true example of consistency. Consistent professionalism, problem solving, collaboration, and happy members. It’s the consistency for her!
